Nupur Garg

Congratulations to Nupur Garg who is awarded the third place Soprema award. Several awards are presented annually to full-time undergraduate or graduate students in the School of Architecture who enrolled in ARCH 473, ARCH 493, ARCH 673 or ARCH 693. Selection is made on the basis of a strong technical understanding of the building envelope and great design skills as evidenced by the grades received in the final project and technical report.

Nupur comleted her bachelor's in India and is currently pursuing a Masters in Architecture from UWSA. She likes to start her day with a large cup of coffee and catching up on new events happening around the world. Her research revolves around the human-centric design aspect of architecture. She has always been interested in understanding the human psyche and designing keeping in mind the users of the space. She believes that humans should be represented in architecture images, magazines, works and drawings, and architects should design keeping them and their changing needs in mind to achieve a holistic and sustainable design.
