SUMMARY:PhD Seminar: Modeling Interactants' Emotions and Optimal Behavior i
 n\nEvent-based Articles
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Areej Alhothali\, PhD Candidate\n\nWe propose an affec
t control theory-based (ACT) model to predict the\ntemporal progression of
the interactants' emotions and their optimal\nbehavior over a sequence of
interactions. ACT has a solid foundation\nin sociology to interpret\, und
erstand\, and predict human social\ninteractions. In this study\, we exten
d the sociological mathematical\nmodel in ACT by learning and incorporatin
 g parameters from real data.
