SUMMARY:Master’s Thesis Presentation: Applying Fair Reward Divisions to\n
 Collaborative Work
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:GREG D’EON\, MASTER’S CANDIDATE\n_David R. Cheriton School
of Computer Science_\n\nCollaborative crowdsourcing tasks allow workers to
solve more\ndifficult problems than they could alone\, but motivating wor
kers in\nthese tasks is complex. In this thesis\, we study how to use paym
ents\nto motivate groups of crowd workers. We leverage concepts from equit
y\ntheory and cooperative game theory to understand the connection\nbetwee
 n fair payments and motivation.
