[Faccus] Reminder: Mailman unavailable during scheduled upgrade - February 26

What is happening? Mailman, the software used to manage email mailing lists, will be upgraded to version 2.1.30

When is this happening? Wednesday, February 26 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

What is the impact? Mailman will be unavailable during the maintenance window. Messages will be queued until the upgrade is completed. Users may experience delays in message delivery but there will be no loss of messages.

[Faccus] Resolved: Workday login issue - February 11

What is happening? Users may be experiencing issues logging into Workday. The vendor is investigating. Further communication will be sent out once the issue is resolved.

Resolved: Service has been restored, users should be able to login to Workday again.

[Faccus] Private channels now available in Microsoft Teams

What is happening? Private channels are now available in Microsoft Teams. 

What is a private channel? Channels are dedicated sections within a team to keep conversations organized by specific topics, projects, etc. Private channels can be used to limit those conversations to a subset of people within a team. For example:

Service Alert - ADFS Maintenance - ADFS authentication down time

Description: ADFS authentication down time

Comment: IST will be migrating the ADFS internal database to a SQL DB. Users will not be able to authenticate to ADFS during the majority of the maintenance window. Examples of affected apps: Quest, Learn, Workday, Office 365 etc.
