Waterloo LEARN emails marked as spam

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Information Systems & Technology (IST) has noticed that emails sent through and generated by LEARN may be flagged as spam by receiving servers or clients. Please scan incoming emails marked as spam to determine whether they are legitimate emails from Waterloo LEARN. These emails may be routed directlyto your Spam or Junk folders, so please be sure to check these folders in the upcoming days. IST is working with Desire2Learn to resolve the issue.

The University of Waterloo will never send you an email asking for personal information or passwords. Maintain caution when opening emails that appear to originate from LEARN. Ensure that the email is a legitimate email message from Waterloo LEARN before opening any attachments or following any suspicious links.
