What's your vision for Arts?

Friday, August 14, 2020

The Faculty of Arts is now in the consultation phase of creating its Strategic Plan 2020-2025 and we’re eager to receive your input. Over the past weeks, members of the strategic planning task force have been meeting by videoconference with campus groups and community stakeholders (including faculty, staff, students and alumni) to discuss your vision for Arts. It’s been a pleasure and an enlightening experience to speak directly with some of you and to hear your views. We are continuing to schedule and hold these meetings with departments, staff groups, and other units on campus, and we look forward to speaking with more of you soon.

We’re writing now to encourage you to fill out the Arts Strategic Plan survey, another way to share your input with us. This short anonymous survey, which asks 7 big-picture questions about the Faculty of Arts, will be available until 1 September. We want to hear from as many people as possible, so please take the time to share your diverse perspectives on essential issues such as teaching, research, co-op, diversity, equity, indigenization, public outreach, organizational structure, internationalization, and community.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss further, please also feel free to reach out to any member of the Arts strategic planning task force for the consultation process.
