Bridge closing at Ceremonial Fire

Please join the campus community with Fire Keeper Al McDonald for the closing ceremonies for Bridge: Honouring the Lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirit People, which is a key part of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, 2019. 

The red ties from the bridge will be removed and taken to the Ceremonial Fire to honour the lives they represent. Soup by the fire will be offered and shared by the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre (WISC). Bring your own soup cup and spoon. Location: St. Paul’s Bridge (across from EV3 at the creek)
