Lisa M
Lisa Moore (BA '13 Political Science)

Lisa Moore graduated from the Arts and Business Co-op program with a major in Political Science and a specialization in Human Resource Management. She has her Certified HR Leader Designation and Masters of Human Resource Management from York University. Lisa has worked in HR in a variety of industries and is currently the Director of People & Culture for a medical technology scale-up, Intellijoint Surgical. In her current role, Lisa leads the HR function by building a high-performing culture with a focus on wellbeing. Lisa currently sits on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region and recently became a  Yoga Teacher!

Tammy Connelly (BA '96 Sociology)

Tammy graduated from the University of Waterloo with a major in Sociology. She joined Shopify in November 2015 to grow and lead a team of recruiters, coordinators and researchers supporting Shopify’s fastest-growing product, Shopify Plus. Today, she leads recruiting teams for multiple products and services across North America, Europe and APAC. A core theme of Tammy’s leadership has been partnering with the business to design and build new and evolving teams. Whether hiring for Shopify's first multilingual support teams in Ireland; growing commercial teams in Asia; or hiring some of Shopify's first product teams in Waterloo, Tammy understands how to engage and connect people with the Shopify story.

Mari-Beth Davis (BA '99 English)

Mari-Beth graduated with a major in English Rhetoric & Professional Writing and a minor in Speech Communication. She has experience working in UWaterloo's Alumni Relations as well as for World Vision, a non-profit organization, as the Marketing Manager. In her current role as a Business Developer, for Co-operative Education & Career at UWaterloo, Mari-Beth generates, develops and converts potential employers into paid, creditable co-op jobs for all programs, and fosters strategic relationships with prospective employers, with current co-op employers and Waterloo alumni to actively bring in new business to Co-operative Education. Mari-Beth also loves connecting and developing meaningful relationships with people in the business world. The passion that she sees for work-integrated learning in everything she does really excites her-as well the passion and excitement about the skills and talents of co-op students.

Kenny Yip headshot
Kenny Yip (BA ‘15 Legal Studies)

Kenny graduated from the University of Waterloo, with a major in Legal Studies and Human Resources Management minor. He launched his career at RBC as an Associate in the RBC Career Launch Program. The program provides new graduates the opportunity to learn from and work alongside RBC employees in a wide variety of roles through three different work rotations (client advisory, global citizenship, and HR recruitment).
Currently, he is a Recruiter in the Early Talent Acquisition Team, responsible for Capital Markets at RBC. Primarily leading co-op/internship opportunities in Global Investment Banking, Global Markets and Capital Markets Operations.
