"Neandertals and the beginnings of people like us"

Neandertals have fascinated scholars and the public alike for more than 150 years. How similar are they really to us? And how and why are they different? Perhaps the most piercing question of all concerns our biological relationships with Neandertals.

(sp of Neandertals is as requested by the speaker, many have pointed out that they feel it's spelled wrong)
