From the studio to the world, MFA thesis exhibitions

The Department of Fine Arts and the University of Waterloo Art Gallery (UWAG) are currently hosting the 2014 MFA Thesis exhibitions, featuring the works of Megan Green, Ian MacMurrich, Amanda Rhodenizer and Srdjan Segan.

Launched in 1993, the MFA program fundamentally prepares emerging artists for the multi-faceted career of artistic practice, both within and outside the studio.

Today CBC has featured Professor Lorne Dawson (Sociology and Legal Studies) in two articles and one video. Over the past few years Prof. Dawson has increasingly appeared in national media providing insight and expert commentary on homegrown terrorism and the process of religious radicalization.

Psychology study on sexual satisfaction receives worldwide attention

A published study led by Erin Fallis, a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology, is receiving an abundance of media attention worldwide. In just a few days, the study's findings have been featured in over 240 articles and broadcasts. According to UWaterloo Media Relations, it means this Waterloo Arts research story has reached an estimated 4 million readers and viewers around the globe.
