The Life and Times of the Pickle Forks

They've been decorated, climbed and pranked. They graced the Hagey Hall courtyard for almost 44 years before disappearing into limbo (or rather, a UWaterloo storage facility) to await their fate. Now the beloved “pickle forks” are enjoying the sunshine once again, just in time for the start of the new academic year.

Multi-million-dollar medievalists: interdisciplinary project digs into climate and culture of late Middle Ages

Professor of medieval history Steven Bednarski leads a seven-year, $2.5 millon SSHRC Partnership-funded project with an interdisciplinary team of 30 Waterloo experts and numerous external partners, including Queen's University's Bader International Study Centre (BISC) at Herstmonceux Castle.
