Jeffrey Charles.Jeffrey Charles is a natural connector, a service-oriented sales leader and strategic thinker. He brings to his clients a solid business acumen and an intrinsic ability to quickly develop an understanding of needs, opportunities, and challenges. He drives sales by strategically identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term, repeat business relationships.

Currently Jeffrey is a leading consultant and risk architect with a privately held national insurance brokerage and consulting firm, Jones Brown. Jeffrey designs and builds risk management and insurance solutions for both private and public Canadian businesses and high-net worth individuals and families.

Most recently, Jeffrey was a partner with an Executive Search firm working to source talent in CEO, CFO, Vice-President Sales, Vice-President Marketing, Board of Directors, and Managing Director roles for leading US and Canadian organizations such as: Macquarie Private Wealth, OMERS Strategic Investments, and Sprott Asset Management.

Having worked for in the Groups, Incentives, and Luxury travel division as well as representing the New York based Hospitality providers for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games in the Canadian market. Jeffrey operates with a well-travelled global perspective. He has fostered a great understanding of project management and the sales process. In his work, Jeffrey has also developed a superior understanding of client service through a history of assisting senior executives. Jeffrey has generated millions of dollars in new revenue in relationship oriented transactions. He has worked with Absolut Vodka, Rogers, Red Bull Air Races, Beefeater Gin, Jamieson Irish Whiskey, Hudson Bay Company, Richardson GMP, and Jet Set Sports.

Jeffrey is a B.IS graduate of the only Independent Studies program in Canada, at the University of Waterloo. His thesis was focused on the integration of creativity into project management for the purpose of producing live public events. Jeffrey operated a small event production and promotion business throughout University and produced some of the very first live shows for now popular musician’s K’naan, Bedouin Soundclash, and Shad. As an active member of his community Jeffrey continues to work with the Alumni association for the University of Waterloo, he sits on the event fundraising committee for the Art Gallery of Ontario, is a participant in the Big Brothers and Sisters one-on-one program and is member of the business advisory council for The Remix Project, a cultural incubator for at-risk youth. Jeff also participates in the 200KM Ride to Conquer Cancer in support of the Princess Margaret Hospital.

Jeffrey is a Canadian and European citizen. He is a music enthusiast, he takes pictures, occasionally paints, and has a passion for world travel. Jeff is an avid golfer, skier and tennis player and typically Canadian, he still plays hockey twice a week. He’s 30 years old.
