Bachelor of Arts breadth requirements

The Faculty of Arts wants you to have a broad range of study within your BA. Therefore, all students in Arts BA programs must complete 10 courses as noted in the following chart. You must meet the BA Breadth Requirements before you graduate.

Concentrate on choosing any courses required by your program or your potential major(s) first and try to incorporate courses related to your BA Breadth Requirements as electives. Remember, you don’t have to complete all of your BA breadth requirements in your first year.

Note: Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management, Bachelor of Computing and Financial Management, Bachelor of Global Business and Digital Arts, and Bachelor of Independent Studies students have different requirements.
