 ffinity Program
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:As the University of Waterloo strives to advance accessibility
and\ndisability inclusion on our campuses\, consultation and community\nen

finity Program seeks to build community space for\nstudents\, staff\, and
faculty with disabilities or neurodivergence to\nfacilitate more authentic
consultation opportunities.\n\nIn this session\, instructors are invited
to share their ideas and\nfeedback on the development of the Disability Af
finity Program as a\npotential\, future space for instructors with disabil
ities to seek\nmentorship\, peer support\, networking\, and knowledge exch

n\nIn our current political and social landscape\, students are\nhypera
ware and hypersensitive to topics that broach themes of\nviolence\, oppres
sion\, and power. The hyperawareness of students poses\nan interesting ch
