SUMMARY:WCA-KPL Public Talk - Analyzing the Universe with artificial\nintel
 ligence (Marco Bonici)
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:Cosmology is the study of the Universe as a whole\, and asks qu
 estions\nlike \"How did the Universe begin?\" and \"What is our Universe m
ade\nof?\". However\, answering these questions comes at a cost: huge\nque
stions require huge quantities of data\, and huge amounts of\nanalysis. At
  September's WCA-KPL astronomy talk\, Dr. Marco Bonici will\ndiscuss how a
new tool -- Artificial Intelligence -- is helping\ncosmologists to unders
tand the data collected from telescopes\, and\nanswer the fundamental ques
 tions about the cosmos.
