 Department of Physics and\nAstronomy at the University of Pittsburgh\, whe
 re he has been a member\nof the faculty since 2007. Originally\, from Quee
 ns\, in New York City\,\nAndrew earned a B. S. in Electrical Engineering f
 rom The Cooper Union\nfor the Advancement of Science and Art\, a unique\, 
 tuition-free school\nin New York’s East Village\, in 1998. He earned his
  Ph. D. in Physics\nfrom The Ohio State University in 2003. Subsequently\,
  Andrew conducted\npostdoctoral research at the University of Chicago wher
 e he was a\nKavli Fellow and a National Science Foundation Fellow before j
 oining\nthe faculty at Pittsburgh.
