DESCRIPTION:David Dayi Li earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees f
 rom\nWestern University before joining the University of Toronto (U of T)\
 nin 2020 to pursue a PhD in astrostatistics as a CANSSI\nMultidisciplinary
  Doctoral Trainee. David now holds an NSERC Canada\nPostdoctoral Research 
 Award and is jointly appointed as a postdoctoral\nfellow in the Department
  of Statistics and Actuarial Science and the\nWaterloo Centre for Astrophy
 sics at the University of Waterloo. His\nresearch focuses on developing co
 mputational and statistical methods\nfor efficient Bayesian inference in c
 omplex astrophysical and\ncosmological problems.
