Dr. Nguyen has a background in engineering, mathematics, and economics. His research interest includes computational economic modelling of international trade, environment, borders, and government policies on taxation, controls and regulations.
Students with interdisciplinary research interests in policy issues on aviation, airports, controls, pricing, and development and training are welcome. Some first-year introductory background in economics would be helpful but not absolutely necessary --- more important is a willingness to step into the new unknown frontier of aviation research.
