Biology film festivalExport this event to calendar

Tuesday, July 27, 2010 — 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM EDT

Please join professor Susan Lolle and students in the Biology 120 course for the seventh semi-annual biology film festival.

As part of their final lab exercise, students have created short films that focus on a plant module, such as such as response to gravity (gravitropism), plant response to touch (thigmotropism), or how sunflowers move in response to a light source (phototropism).

Students are also free to add photo stills, music and animation to their videos.

Professor Lolle welcomes all in the uWaterloo community to attend. “It’s entertaining, funny and shows you how students use technology and science in an interesting way.”

‘Movie-goers’ will also be treated to popcorn and a surprise special guest.
