Prof. Sherman Shen attended IEEE Hong Kong 6G Wireless Summit, on September 13-14, 2023, in Hong Kong, China. As President of IEEE ComSoc, Prof. Shen gave a speech on "6G - Holistic Network Virtualization and Edge Intelligence".
Prof. Sherman Shen and many BBCR group memebers attended IEEE PIMRC 2023 and IEEE ComSoc Frontier Networking Symposium (FNS) 2023 on September 5-8, 2023, in Toronto.
As President of IEEE ComSoc, Prof. Shen gave welcome remarks and presented the IEEE Fellow Award to Prof. Jianping Pan of the University of Victoria.
Our work titled ”Digital Twin-Assisted Resource Demand Prediction for Multicast Short Video Streaming” by Xinyu Huang, supervised by Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen, received the Iron Medal from the Student Project Competition at the IEEE ComSoc Frontier Networking Symposium (FNS) 2023.
