Build Our Kids’ Success (BOKS) is an initiative of the Reebok Canada Fitness Foundation. BOKS is a before-school physical activity program designed to get elementary school age children moving in the morning, to promote a more productive school day. The program combines free play, physical activity, team games and short talks on nutrition to create life-long healthy habits. For more information about the BOKS program, please visit the BOKS program website.
The Propel Centre for Population Health Impact at the University of Waterloo is evaluating the BOKS program in partnership with the Reebok Canada Fitness Foundation, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and the Canadian Football League. The evaluation will assess the theory and impact of the before-school program, and the extent to which it has been implemented in schools. Schools are invited to participate in the BOKS program evaluation alongside their participation in the BOKS program.
