March 2021 project milestones achieved

Core development

Core FDSU development in progress, as well as assessment of feedback from first three alpha testing phases
3.0.0 'General Availability’ release date has changed to June 29, 2021

Core testing

Proceeding according to plan; Alpha 3 testing complete
Alpha 4 testing is underway with a cross-departmental group

Custom development

Consultations that began late November are completing
Business Analysis, Fit-Gap with core functionality progressing well and 90% complete

Migration process, tools, and schedule

Consultation over 50% complete
Evolving Web consultants have been working on migration tools

User training

Not yet started, awaiting completion of alpha and beta builds
Plan to release both “new” and “refresher” training for WCMS 3

Open Scholar

Initial consultation complete at October WAC Meeting
Further consultation to occur after Custom Dev consultation finished

Testing and release timeline for 3.0.0 (standard website template, FDSU)

    - May 19, 2021 (open to campus participation)

  1. 3.0.0 General Availability
    
    WCMS 3.0.0 will be made available to campus on June 29, 2021
  2. Migration to WCMS 3.0 begin
    
    Migration of WCMS 2.0 websites to WCMS 3.0 begins June 29, 2021 as per the migration schedule shared with website POCs
