Haven’t made plans for Canada Day yet? The University of Waterloo invites you to join us for the Region’s largest Canada Day festival!
We’re excited to be celebrating Canada’s 148th Birthday with amazing stage performances, a live outdoor concert, the biggest fireworks around, and most importantly with all of you in our great community.
|4 – 11 p.m.||Food Fair: Fill up on some tasty, diverse and multicultural food offered by local food trucks.|
|4 – 8 p.m.||Activity zone: Check out our free children's activities put on by local community partners (Kitchener Rangers, The Museum, Waterloo Public Library, etc.)|
|4 - 8 p.m.||Bouncy World: A suite of over 12 inflatable rides and games for children to enjoy throughout the day.|
|4 – 8 p.m.||Face Paint Tent: Show your Canadian pride with free face painting sponsored by the University of Waterloo Alumni Association.|
|4 – 8 p.m.||Photo booth: Grab your patriotic gear and few fun props and show off your Canada Day pride in one of our photo booths.|
|4 – 10 p.m.||Beverage garden: For anyone aged 19+ we offer a refreshing drink and spot to relax in our Brick Brewery Beverage tent|
|4 - 6:30 p.m.||Live stage entertainment: Children's performances will take place on the TVO Kid's stage. Performances include; Bobs and Lolo, .|
|4 - 6:30 p.m.||Water slide: Cool off on the University of Waterloo Engineering Society Waterslide.|
|7:00 - 10 p.m.||Evening live concert: Don't miss the Strumbella's from 7–8:30 or Kim Mitchell at 8:30 – 10 p.m.|
|10 - 10:30 p.m.||Fireworks: We have the highest, biggest and most impressive firework show in all of Kitchener Waterloo.|
