The capstone workshop is the final milestone in the EDGE certificate program. You must be an EDGE student who has completed all of their other milestones or is on track to do so this term. If you have a question regarding your status with respect to this workshop or are an EDGE student about to graduate interested in attending, contact us at edge@uwaterloo.ca. Students who do not meet this criteria may not attend. The capstone workshop will help you synthesize the skills developed during your undergraduate career, market yourself to employers and develop a post-graduation plan of action.

Tuesday, November 24, 2020 — 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST

Are you applying for faculty positions? Through this interactive workshop, you'll become better prepared for a campus interview. In addition to learning about a typical campus interview schedule, you'll learn to analyze interview questions and evaluate and develop effective responses to these questions.

We will focus on networking at academic and professional conferences, work search strategies to increase your network and effective social media uses to actively engage with those in your network and more widely share your accomplishments.
