The Centre for Career Action acknowledges that our work is on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our institution is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. The active work by the University of Waterloo toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Indigenous Initiatives Office.
Through discussion and hands-on activities, you will identify and evaluate your skills, interests and values, and enhance your understanding of how these elements affect the career decision-making process. You will also start to develop a plan for exploring multiple career paths outside of the traditional academic track.
In order to receive that job offer, you must prove your skills in the interview. Here is your opportunity to practise and improve. NOTE: There is a prerequisite for this workshop. Please see chart for details.
