Overview
In this session, an admission officer provides an overview of Knight-Hennessy Scholars, the admission process, and the application. The session includes a presentation, and Knight-Hennessy scholar(s) may join to share their experience.

Eligibility
You are eligible to apply to the 2026 cohort of Knight-Hennessy Scholars if you earned (or will earn) your bachelor's degree in 2019 or later. For military (active or veteran) applicants, you are eligible if you earned your bachelor's degree in 2017 or later. Additionally, current Stanford PhD students in the first year of enrollment may apply if starting at KHS in the second year of PhD enrollment.

Deadline
The Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS) application to join the 2025 cohort is now closed. The KHS application to join the 2026 cohort will open on June 1, 2025. 

About Knight-Hennessy Scholars
Knight-Hennessy Scholars at Stanford University is a multidisciplinary, multicultural graduate scholarship program. Each Knight-Hennessy scholar receives up to three years of financial support to pursue graduate studies at Stanford while participating in engaging experiences that prepare scholars to be visionary, courageous, and collaborative leaders who address complex challenges facing the world.

Let's support your career journey as we identify your strongest skills to set yourself apart from other candidates! This workshop will support you as you develop strategies to articulate these skills to potential employers to better prepare you for job hunting. The skills identification and articulation workshop is one of six milestones in the EDGE academic certificate program.

Feeling confused with your résumé? Let's make it shine. Learn how to interpret job descriptions to identify your strongest and relevant skills to make your résumé more appealing to employers. Upon registering for this event in WaterlooWorks, you will receive a link to register in MS Teams.

Join EDGE and CCD for the Fall 2024 Volunteer Fair! 

This event offers students an opportunity to meet local organizations that are recruiting volunteers.  

Representatives from 30 local organizations will be present to speak with current students about their organization's mission and volunteering needs. 

Volunteering is a great way to develop skills and gain experiences that can be showcased on a résumé and discussed in an interview. For those looking to give back to the community, it is a fulfilling way to contribute to local causes. It also provides an excellent opportunity for networking. 

This is an in-person event in the SLC Great Hall and no registration is required. If you have any questions about this event please email careers@uwaterloo.ca
