It is that time of the year again! Applications are open for Don Opportunities for the Grade 11 Girls Conference taking place in-person this year from Friday, April 29th to Sunday May 1st 2022.

Don Opportunity (Paid position): We’re looking for passionate and dedicated current women-identifying engineering students to live in residence with our participants from Friday, April 29th to Sunday, May 1st during the conference. Dons will be provided training in First Aid and CPR (if you don't have it already), as well as receive additional training to support the participants. You will be responsible for providing support, guidance and assist with the coordination of social, bedtime and morning activities. Meals will be provided. This is a paid position. About the Conference:

The Catalyst Girls Conference is an exciting opportunity for Grade 11 girls to explore the unique world of engineering! You will get the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops, explore the University of Waterloo campus, meet current undergrad students, learn about engineering program admissions, compete in a design competition and meet other like-minded girls! You will be invited to stay in a university residence for the duration of the conference. This will give you a taste of what living in residence is like by lodging in the rooms and eating in the cafeteria.

Deadline to submit your application: Tuesday, March 22nd

Please note that this Don opportunity requires you to be in-person and you need to follow COVID-19 University of Waterloo Policy.
