The University of Waterloo is licensed through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and is responsible for all alcoholic beverages sales and service. Bar services must be booked a minimum of 10 working days prior to the event. Bar services booked less than 10 working days in advance will be subject to a late booking fee. All alcoholic beverages on campus must be provided by UW Catering.
Bar services are available at the locations listed on the University of Waterloo Liquor License. All other non-licensed locations must be booked 15 working days in advance of the event. An administrative fee will apply for licensing of unlisted spaces. All of our bartenders have their Smart Serve certification.
Bars are stocked with a variety of house and premium beers, wine, scotch, vodka, gin, rum, rye, assorted pop, bottled water and juice. All drinks except wine are served in recyclable plastic ware. Full glassware is available at an additional charge.

The AGCO regulates that food must be offered when alcohol is served. All bars are invoice based on minimum net bar sales. A cancellation fee will apply if the event is cancelled within 5 working days or less prior to the event. Minimum net bar sales include the service of bartenders and setup fees.
