The Waterloo Centre for the Advancement of Co-operative Education (WatCACE) was established to further Waterloo's leadership role in co-operative education. WatCACE advances co-operative education practice through conducting and disseminating research. With the largest co-operative education program of its kind in the world, we have the largest data set to examine, understand and continue to innovate the co-operative education model.

The Volume 20, Issue 2 of the International Journal of Work-Integrated Learning (IJWIL) is now available online. One of the articles on the professional development needs of the international work-integrated learning community features University of Waterloo's very own Norah McRae (Associate Provost, Co-operative and Experiential Education) as one of the many international co-authors.

WatCACE attended the 21st WACE Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio earlier this month. WatCACE Director Judene Pretti hosted two workshops alongside fellow University of Waterloo Colleagues, Dr. Norah McRae and Anne-Marie Fannon.
