In our first CEWIL Research Matters of 2019, we are featuring articles from the 2018 International Journal of Work Integrated Learning publication. We would like to extend special thanks to our colleagues from the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, David Fenton and Arjuna Thaskaran, for their contributions this month.
Sponsored by WatCACE, the CEWIL Canada Research Grant is an established grant to promote research activity in co-operative education and work-integrated learning (WIL) across the country. If you are a co-op or WIL practitioner/researcher, consider applying for the grant to elevate your research and strengthen Canada's leadership in work-integrated learning. Visit the CEWIL Canada website for more details.
The WACE 21st World Conference will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio from August 3-7, 2019. This year's theme is advancing co-operative and work-integrated learning through inspiration, innovation and evolution. Special topics include: entrepreneurship, expanding the definition of work-integrated learning and preparing the future global workforce, and more.
After a short holiday break, WatCACE is back and ready for 2019. We're excited to bring you more issues of our newsletter, CEWIL Research Matters, and to continue our mission of enhancing co-op and work-integrated learning through research. We're looking forward to collaborating with fellow WIL colleagues and sharing our research with you through publications, conferences and seminars.
