The May issue of our monthly newsletter, Co-op Research Matters, is now available in PDF format. While we usually feature Waterloo staff and fellow co-op practitioners in our newsletter, this month is particularly special because we have collaborated with a student for the first time since the launch of Research Matters. Thank you to Patricia Duong, a current Waterloo Chemical Engineering student and VP of EngSoc, for her thoughtful review of the influence of industry engagement on students. We would also like to thank Erin Smith, the Associate Director (Program Improvement) of WatPD, for her contributions to this month's issue.
In other news, WatCACE will be attending the 20th WACE World Conference on Co-operative and Work-integrated Education hosted in Chiang Mai, Thailand from June 5th-8th. We will be sharing big updates, including the current status of our Work-integrated Learning (WIL) Research Portal.
