This is a free drop-in session open to all community members, staff, students and participants of our CCCARE exercise and research programs to meet one of our featured CCCARE researchers and learn about their ongoing work.
Researcher: Kendal Marriott, PT, PhD working under the supervision of Dr. Monica Maly in the Mobilize Clinical Biomechanics Lab.
Topic: Kendal will be speaking to us about her current study evaluating the loads inside the knee during walking in both healthy young adults and in adults (50+ years) with knee pain. Kendal uses different measurement techniques including body worn sensors and assessments of strength to calculate knee loading.
