Stephanie is an encouraging and compassionate individual whose passion is helping people become a healthier version of themselves.

After graduating from the University of Waterloo in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, Stephanie joined the UW Fitness team in 2010. Since then, she has spent most of her time working with individuals with chronic diseases, gaining extensive knowledge and experience using exercise as a means of disease management.

As Coordinator of the Teens In Motion program, Stephanie strives to assist teens struggling with weight management issues to develop a healthier lifestyle. By educating teens with age-appropriate exercise guidelines and techniques in a non-judgemental, small group environment, Stephanie empowers teens. She helps them develop the confidence and skills they need to feel comfortable exercising in a community gym facility or to try new recreational and sporting activities.

Stephanie aspires to educate others about the power of exercise and its instrumental role in improving both physical and mental health throughout the life course.
