DESCRIPTION:_Paul Thagard was Professor of Philosophy at the University of\
 nWaterloo from 1992 until his retirement in 2016. He was also\naffiliated 
 with Psychology and Computer Science\, served as the\nDirector of the Cogn
 itive Science Program and held a University\nResearch Chair. Paul is a gra
 duate of the Universities of\nSaskatchewan\, Cambridge\, Toronto (Ph.D in 
 philosophy) and Michigan\n(M.S. in computer science). He is a Fellow of th
 e Royal Society of\nCanada and has won a Molson Prize and a Killam Prize._
