Building Rapport with Students (CTE203)

Description: For teaching assistants, establishing a positive relationship with undergraduate students can make all the difference when teaching. This workshop will feature presentations by  undergraduate students about their perspectives on building effective working relationships with TAs. We will discuss various rapport-building strategies that could be adapted to your specific teaching context.

Notes:

  • Open to all graduate students (registration required).
  • Participants will receive an attendance credit if they arrive on time and stay until the end of the event.
