Facilitator Development Workshop (FDW)

Description: The Facilitator Development Workshop, or FDW, is an intensive 40-hour workshop held over 5 days that prepares participants to deliver the ISW to others.  The FDW involves four or five faculty participating in three roles: instructor, learner, facilitator. Led by one or two Trainers from the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) Network, the core of the FDW is another Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) with the further skill of facilitation as the primary focus. 

FDWs are offered every other year in May and are open to all teaching faculty and staff who have completed the Instructional Skill Workshop (ISW) (CTE6601 or 6604). An internationally recognized certificate will be issued upon completion.
