Getting Started in LEARN for TAs (CTE550)

Date: Tuesday, May 8, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Location: EV1-241

Facilitators: Scott Anderson (CTE)

Workshop description

This two hour hands-on workshop will introduce TAs to Desire2Learn (D2L), our course management system known as LEARN. By the end of this session TAs will: be able to use the D2L environment to communicate with students; have basic knowledge of the tools available within D2L (e.g., discussion forums, drop boxes, quizzes); enter grades. TAs should be enrolled in the course they will be working in with the appropriate permissions, and should know the sorts of tasks that they will be asked to complete in that course to make best use of their time in the session.
