Offering students rich multimedia activities is an effective way for instructors to enhance student learning. However, creating formative activities that help to promote learner engagement in an interesting and meaningful way can prove to be a challenge. H5P allows instructors to check the degree to which students are meeting learning objectives through highly interactive content.
H5P is a powerful authoring tool, flexible and easy to use. It allows users to create more than 40 different content types, including interactive videos, presentations, games and more. During this session we will discuss the use of H5P in the creation of learning activities for both online and on campus courses taught in the Department of French Studies. Participants will also have an opportunity to explore different H5P content types.
Registration
Registration is required. CTE has a new registration system called GoSignMeUp. Before you can register for a workshop, you need to create an account (one time only). Once you've created an account, you can register for this workshop.
Cancellations
Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
