Workshop description
Most instructors teach the way they were taught, which may or may not be a good thing. This interactive workshop will provide participants with a toolbox of activities suitable for any classroom. We will introduce the concept of active learning and teacher-centred versus student-centred classrooms. In this workshop we will also discuss some of the reasons for using different teaching methods and help you decide which ones are right for your classroom.
Registration

- Participants will receive an attendance credit towards the Fundamentals program if they arrive on time and stay until the end of the event.
- It is strongly recommended that this workshop be completed before starting microteaching sessions.
Cancellations
Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
