Workshop description
Remote and online courses require TAs to use different strategies than the ones they use for in-person classes. This online module will introduce you to the online learning environment and strategies for being an effective TA for remote and online courses. You will learn about the unique needs of online students; the role of TAs in online courses; useful tools in the learning management system; and strategies for communicating with students, facilitating online discussions, and providing feedback. By the end of this module, you will have acquired the tools to be an effective TA in remote and online courses
