Using the Grades Tool in LEARN: Advanced (CTE7542)

Description

In our initial Grades course, we focused on the weighted grading system and how to setup and use it effectively. For this advanced session, it is expected that you have a reasonable understanding of most topics covered in our first course. Please see the course description for more details.

This 1.5 hour session will compare the various grading systems in LEARN (weighted, points, and formula), focusing on:

  • understanding the different grading systems and identifying appropriate use cases
  • using the formula editor
  • working with exemptions
  • setting bonus grades
  • integrating tools with the Gradebook

Registration

Registration required (if this is your first time using GoSignMeUp, you will need to set up your account first). If you have changed roles at the University (e.g., graduate student to faculty) please updateyour "Participant Profile" in your GoSignMeUp account.

Cancellations

Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
