Save the Date! 12th Annual Teaching and Learning Conference


The 12th Annual University of Waterloo Teaching and Learning Conference will be held online Wednesday, April 28 and Thursday, April 29, 2021. Please note that due to our 2020 UW Teaching and Learning Conference being cancelled, the theme of our upcoming conference will remain the same: Learning through Assessment.

Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality: Resources and Community of Practice

If you’ve ever seen someone doing what the young man above is doing, then you’ve seen someone immersed in virtual reality (VR). To an outside observer, it looks kind of strange. But to the person wearing the headset, it can be an intense and absorbing experience that allows you to see and “do” things you that you can’t easily do in the real world.
