Campus closure updates:

  • All face-to-face CTE programs are cancelled, postponed, or moving online until the end of the Winter term (at minimum). Consultations will continue. 
  • CTE has developed resources to help instructors continue teaching their courses online during the campus closure: uwaterloo.ca/keep-learning.

As a Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE) Faculty Liaison, Jordan Rettinger supports instructors in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, Psychology, Sociology & Legal Studies, and Support Units with teaching and learning initiatives established by the CTE, emphasizing blended learning, learning technologies and course design. Jordan helps instructors integrate technology into their teaching through innovative learning activities in our learning management system (LEARN). She also serves as a guide for instructors who wish to access other CTE resources. 

Prior to joining the CTE, Jordan worked as a high school Math and Science Teacher in Switzerland, The Netherlands, Germany and Waterloo. Jordan received her BSc. Honors Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and her BEd. from Queens University. She is currently completing her Masters of Mathematics for Teachers (MMT) at the University of Waterloo. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys fitness, photography and spending time outdoors.
