Dr. Stephanie White supports writing initiatives at the course, department, and faculty levels by sharing her expertise on designing communications assignments in any discipline, teaching with writing, facilitating student peer review, developing rubrics, and teaching multilingual writers. She also oversees the CTE TA Workshop Facilitators and assists with CTE teaching development programs for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

Stephanie holds a PhD in Composition and Rhetoric from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she was the TA Assistant Director of Writing Across the Curriculum. Prior to her doctoral work, Stephanie received an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Notre Dame. She has taught writing and communication classes in the U.S. and here at the University of Waterloo. Her research interests include writing pedagogy, Writing Across the Curriculum and Writing in the Disciplines, community-engaged writing, and multimodal communication.
