Huayong (Johnny) Jia
Huayong (Johnny) Jia received both his Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.  While working at the University of Regina, he successfully developed a new method to design tunable RF/Microwave bandpass filters with an absolute constant bandwidth over the tuning range. By using this new method, the response of the tunable filter can be fully characterized.

In 2015, Johnny joined the Centre for Integrated RF Engineering (CIRFE), and currently he is working towards his PhD degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, ON, Canada. As a “filter guy”, he loves RF/Microwave filters and multiplexers. His research interests include designing and modeling RF/Microwave filters and multiplexers, Computer-aided tuning technologies, and High-Q tunable filters.
