Map the System is a global challenge hosted by Oxford University that tasks students with mapping a problem using systems-thinking tools. Students will pitch their completed "map" of their problem to a panel of judges, with the winners receiving cash prizes and the opportunity to represent the University of Waterloo at the virtual Canadian Final!
Voices Together: A Celebration of Art and Music explores the complementary nature of visual art and worship in the Mennonite Church. Featuring over a dozen works of art found in Voices Together, the exhibition offers visitors a more intimate view of the art found in this new Mennonite hymnal.

Are you interested in participating in Map the System 2022 but don't know where to start? Do you want to hear from a past competitor who won the Campus Final, and competed in the Canadian and Global Final?
Tackling global challenges starts with understanding a problem and its wider context, rather than jumping straight into a business plan or an idea for a quick fix. The Map the System pitch competition asks you to select a social or environmental issue and to explore, probe, and research all the connecting elements and factors around it. We want you to present this issue back to us in a way that people can understand, share, and learn from.
Where do we go to talk about our everyday traumatic experiences that we do not believe are worthy of sharing?
