Map the System Oxford Global Finals

Attend the Map the System Oxford Global Finals on June 11, 2021!

Support the UWaterloo Map the System team by registering to attend the Map the System Oxford Global Finals on June 11, 2021 from 9:00 - 11:30 am (EDT). The Final Showcase is a celebration of the top Map the System teams from around the world that have advanced through both their local and national finals to present on a global stage.

The 2021 Map the System global final is presented as part of the Systems Week 2021 programming from June 7-11, 2021. To attend scheduled events including the virtual final, register for Systems Week 2021.

2021 UWaterloo Team

Six teams competed at the UWaterloo Map the System Campus Finals on April 15th, 2021 for the opportunity to attend the Canadian Finals in May. The first-place winners brought home $2,000 sponsored by Kindred Credit Union for their research of foreign labour conditions in Malaysian palm oil plantations.

Ewomazino IyanuOluwa Odhigbo, Leah Feor and Muhammed Ahsanur Rahim were one of eight teams invited to present at the Canadian finals on May 7th. They placed among the top four Candian teams chosen to attend the global finals along with Map the System participants from around the world.
