In addition to our three core programs, the Centre for Peace Advancement has partnered with other agencies to provide additional opportunities in our community. These additional partnerships include The Ripple Effect Education and the Peace Innovators Scholarship and Mentoring Program.
The Ripple Effect Education (TREE) develops and facilitates vibrant skill-based programs and workshops to give youth the tools they need to resolve conflict in healthy and independent ways.
TREE is a member of the Epp Peace Incubator and is implementing a major grant from the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation on behalf of Conrad Grebel University College.
The Peace Innovators Scholarship & Mentoring Program equips young leaders going into their final year of high school to tackle a problem they are passionate about in their community. They network with other leaders in high schools across Ontario, and by the end of one year, they launch an event or campaign to address their chose cause.
The CPA is implementing this program in partnership with TREE on behalf of Kindred Credit Union.
