Katrina SteckleKatrina is a student at the University of Waterloo majoring in Psychology and English Rhetoric and Literature and minoring in Peace and Conflict Studies. With a passion for advancing peace locally and globally, Katrina is excited to join the Centre for Peace Advancement (CPA) for Winter 2019 as the Communications Assistant. Katrina is eager to spread the word about all of the initiatives and organizations that are housed in the CPA and the great work that they are doing!

About Katrina

Katrina was a resident at Conrad Grebel University College in her first two years at the University of Waterloo, and has been an active member of the Grebel community. Since starting at Grebel, Katrina has been involved in Chapel Committee, mental health initiatives, organizing and leading service trips, the Larger Leadership Team as the Environment Representative and in a role that connects students to volunteer opportunities in the community, and she'll be a residence don in Spring 2019.

Katrina is excited for the coming term as she learns how to apply her skill-set to elevate the CPA’s profile within Waterloo’s innovation ecosystem and beyond.
