Professor Katja Mombaur will be the keynote speaker at Go CODE Girl 2021

Go CODE Girl provides an exciting opportunity for girls in grades 7-10 across Ontario to learn about the exciting world of coding and software development and discover opportunities in computing and engineering fields.

The 2020 IEEE-RAS International Conference on Humanoid Robots will take place July 19-21, 2021. 

Our Human-Centred Robotics and Motion Capture labs participated in this summer's Engineering Outreach STEMpowered camps for Black Youth.

We welcomed campers from Grades 4-12 for two hour sessions of fun demonstrations and interactive activities on Aug 11, 18 and 25.

"This workshop aims to inform the robotics research community of recent findings and future directions in Trajectory Optimization (TO) and Model Predictive Control (MPC) applied to legged systems."

"... the particular interest and aim of this workshop is to bring researchers together to discuss and examine the different aspects of close-proximity human-robot collaboration which require further consideration beyond the standard pHRI and sHRI perspectives."

The Waterloo Robotics Day will bring together robotics researchers and graduate students at Waterloo and provide an opportunity to share the extraordinary robotics research that is happening on campus.

We will have industry representatives from the region, and a combination of teaser talks by research group leaders and poster sessions by students and postdocs.

This event is co-organized by the Human-Centred Robotics & Machine Intelligence research group and RoboHub.

Registration is required and will close on Monday, February 27 at 3:00 pm.
